you can call it a reach if you want. he sure did play well when he led the rockets team against a fully healthy GS team to a W with no harden this past season. alot of players can't handle 36 minutes a game, most of yall still try to use it for players that play like 5-10 mins like i said earlier. apparently its a reach for cp3 but nah you can still use it for other players over and over
Damn if you do, damn if you don't with some fans like yourself This was a no-brainer move. WB will be the same age Paul is now when his contract expires and he's also in his prime now whereas CP3 is declining. Paul is also good to miss 20-30 games at a minimum this upcoming season. I'm glad he's gotten thinner though.. wish he had prioritized his weight more during his tenure in Houston.
that's the problem. some of you have trained your minds to think he has completely sucked all year long. hence the eye tests aren't as truthful as some of you want to think but whatever, at this point its over. both guys are in different places and wb will be the new scapegoat at some point
What on earth are you talking about? It’s a massive reach because you’re trying to take the small amount of minutes he played without Harden and extrapolate them out to minutes that he would never play to come up with a stat you can feed into a tweet. It’s not useful. As I also said previously, “Chris Paul is still a good basketball player”. You don’t need those numbers to prove that. This is only an attempt to reach higher.
its pretty simple and not all that hard to see what the post says. people use small sample minute sizes all the time around here and use their advanced stats to try and make random points valid. but yeah doesn't apply here though
I just don’t see how it’s a “no brainer move” to bring in the least efficient high volume shooter in NBA history, especially with his recent playoff history. I hope you’re right, though. Hope he somehow becomes an efficient postseason player. Time will tell.
They are the exact same. In fact they are conjoined. Get off here and go back to where you came from. And the only reason it's a big deal is because of who said it. You are being totally hypocritical. You won't condemn GTFOH but you want to stop the use of go back....
But they also get called out about it. If the argument is that Harden was holding CP3 back, then its a good thing for both parties he was traded. But it really is cherry picking numbers. CP3 played 12 mins per game out of 32 without Harden. He was the primary option during that time and put up good numbers as expected. I think most people will agree Paul could give an elite 12-15 mins a game. I don't think that qualifies him as very very good. At this point he is good in spurts. Maybe it was an off year, maybe he is declining either way he is a pretty good point guard. BTW, Westbrook on the avg. 25/10/10 per 36 without Harden, so he is still really really really great
what argument. the post again clear says cp3 is still really good. it doesn't say anything anything about harden holding cp3 back. stop making it something its not. as far as wb, all the while ignoring the %'s of those numbers. theres a reason you ignore them because they're as bad as it gets. so really really really great? nah. not impressed. theres nothing impressive about jacking 20 shots to score 20 a game at the worst %'s
Good argument but moot point because Harden did not want to play with CP3 but he wants to play with Westbrook. Whether we'll get better or worse as a team this coming season remains to be seen.
sure. harden also wanted to play with butler but butler ended up saying no. next in line about a week later? westbrook. ok, come on down the line. you're the next contestant
Would you guys stop having the same old tired arguments and try to prod Holic for some more blatantly racist outbursts?
@everyone is this poster usually this pretentious? I can tell that he’s never played ball a day in his life. Couch potato with no ambition.
