Yeah, that sounds about right. The more I thought about it, an IHPR requires a good amount of luck. You can lower that threshold by being really fast, but raw speed wasn't how Bagwell stole all his bases. He was a smart baserunner, so it makes sense that he'd be able to pull off something like stealing home where he had the control of the situation to do it.

Well, I was waiting for this, and Bagwell just straight up said that Jake didn't so anything wrong on his collision at the plate. He described it exactly as Jake described it. He went further and said that rule would not be in place if Max Stassi had been run over and his leg broken instead of MVP Buster Posey. And then he said Mike Scioscia blocked the plate on him once...on a home run. Bagwell has spoken.
