Who is the best third base coach in MLB? Which one is your favorite? I don't really give a ****, I'm just curious how we can do better. Remember that GP is the OF coach, and he seems to be pretty damn good at that.....
I dunno now... lefty Berkman is very much like Yordan from what I'm looking at. (there's better highlights, I just did this for the Tal's Hill catch)
I'd be lying too you if I pretended to know their names. Red Sox have a good one. Detroit does too I think our outfield governs itself. You and I could coach them.
Nobody helped Brantley in LF at MMP? Nobody teaches things anymore, really? Straw? Yordan? Kemp? etc, etc, etc... If Pettis as a 3B coach wasn't doing things that H&L thought were ok, he would have been replaced several years ago.
Brantley is a very intelligent player. He doesn't need much coaching Yordan is still a left fielder. I'm impressed that Straw can play SS. I think he's just that good of an athlete. Kemp is the same
How do any of us know this? I do know, we do all know, that the LF wall and the corner in LCF are not easy to play. You think Brantley just figured that out on his own? No practice, huh? Did Jake, Springer not learn anything from a guy who won 5 GGs (back when Gold Gloves meant something)? I dunno. We should really ask them. This reminds me of the "fire the hitting coach" stuff. What the hell do we know what they work on? Lame. You know better than this.
Left field is a b**** in Houston. nobody taught Uncle how to play there. I like to hand him the credit. No, we don't and I'll never pretend to be a coach
