I’ll take it. Take 2 of 3 this weekend and let’s get some trade pieces!

Nice momentum going to into a matchup between two All Star pitchers tomorrow.

It'll be nice to have Todd back in the booth as well.

Bregman: "The first two games we played absolutely horrible, and.........the Stros are back. The boys are back. ......Sometimes we like to lose a few to just...feel human. <laughs>"

Bregs is a such a great interview.

Yeah, he is, and it's great to see. His fielding is less great to see. That seems anomalous and will work itself out, I'm sure.

I think, regarding batting, it's his pitch choice that's maybe a little troubling. He's really been a sucker for the low outside slider. Now, being Tuve, he can reach and still turn that pitch into a bloopey single into left field sometimes, but it's not ideal. He's always been able to do that, but I think MVP Altuve and multiple 200-hit-seasons Altuve were better at just taking that to the opposite field. Current Altuve is getting his mojo back when gets pitches he should hit, but he's also going after pitches he has no business trying to hit and trying to pull them when they want to be pushed. That's the ugly part of what is otherwise a very promising return.

Seemed the sentiment was Altuve's defense, not offense.

It’s amazing how he continues to put up numbers and look so bad at the plate at times. To think what he would do with some plate discipline.

He looked completely disinterested in playing in the game last night, at the plate and in the field. I know that's not the case, but it's sure how he looked.

Pretty much the whole year Altuve has been inconsistent. At times he looks like the old Altuve we have came to depend on. At times he is just plain garbage both offensively and defensively. Overall he has been playing better since coming off the DL but it seems even now he has at least one game per series he plays like pure crap. I think it goes beyond physical and there is something going on that is causing him to have an overall bad year by his standards. Whatever it is I hope he can get back to playing like the Altuve we all rely on day in and day out both offensively and defensively.

Short arming the throw at second and air mailing a throw 10 ft over the 3rd basemans head which he should have never made in the first place.

I would prefer we take all 3 and add another pitcher or two.
