Ummmm u do know that during Westbrooks MVP season, there was literally talk about how he knew Harden and how they grew up together playing against each other in LA and playing together in the Thunders. This is not made up sht, it's not like bam they all of a sudden buddy buddy via this trade. They been friends since childhood, so there's always has been a possibility of them playing together, it's just that most of us wouldn't want to see this combo in the first place.
