Pressley does not OWE a right wing troll a response when they invade their personal space, and act like obnoxious fools to try and create right wing propaganda. However it is in the best interest of Democrats to get it on the record that they do not support Antifa, and in that statement highlight the historical implications of Antifa used through history as an excuse for autocratic leaders to seize military and policing power with them used as a foil. The Dems cannot allow a one-sided explanation of Antifa to go out to the uninformed American public. They are simply a convenient tool for Trump and his White Nationalist followers who want to see an Autocracy. The obsession with Antifa by Trump supporting White Nationalists is crystal clear. The gotcha stuff asking Omar to condemn Antifa is in striking parallel to journalists asking Republican legislators if Trump's tweets were racist, and then going nuts when they refuse to use their preferred vocabulary. This is a stupid game.
