If you can get past the faux outrage at my post, I'd be interested in hearing your take on how the Democrat party itself views AOC and friends. Trump is who he is and nobody's mind about him was or will be changed by his actions today. But the Democrat party is by its own admission being defined by the far left 4 and the voters they need to win....hate what they stand for. Any comments on that?
You and mick fry need to have a gentleman's duel to see her gets to keep the astros avatar. Yall makin this confusing for a brother.
GB's current Prime Minister and the two top candidates to replace May all agree... PM candidates condemn Trump's 'go back' remark to congresswomen https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politic...al&ns_campaign=bbc_politics&ns_source=twitter
It's so pathetic how you just assume faux outrage. Do you have any idea how often the trope of "go home" is blasted towards minority citizens in this country? I've experienced it. Many of my family members have experienced that language. We are used to insular uneducated people who don't view brown people as citizens of this country who seem this country their home. A modern US president? Nah. It shows how casual racism is now accepted and defenses by 2/5ths of the nation. It's also amazing how you think a president has to resort to explicitly racist attacks to counter ideologies that he disagrees with.
Racist tweets, racist tweets. Same song, different verse. Won't make a difference. His supporters would vote for Lucifer himself if he had a "R" next to his name on the ballot. Sad really. I'm not a conspiracy nut but we're headed down a dangerous path with the hateful and divisive propaganda from the far right.
I agree, that is exactly what he is doing and the recent comments of Lindsay Graham only support this theory. They have even walked out further than labeling them as "socialists", they have recently been dropping the word "communist" to describe the democrat party and the 4-5 more polarizing congressional members. Trump also knows that these 4-5 members of congress will not back down, and that the moderate members of the democratic party will come to their defense on issues about race, etc. Trump is targeting voters in the Midwest and the Rust Belt. In those areas, there is less concern with Trump's racist tweets or political incorrectness. Hell there are a lot of people in places like rural Illinois, Ohio and Pennsylvania that believe that illegal aliens and large migration has resulted in blue collar workers making less and having fewer jobs because of the influx of Hispanics. For some reason the liberal base in places like California and NY cannot comprehend this point.
Que? I'm honestly not understanding your question. You claim that someone is "faux outraged" over someone defending Trump's tweet. Let's assume that AOC and other 3 Congresswomen are "extreme leftists" (whatever that means). So now condemning racist tropes is somehow "defending their ideologies"? I think it paints a rather peculiar trait of you specifically. Political ideology is inherently tied to race and therefore defending an individual against explicit racist attacks is equivalent of agreeing with their economic ideas. It's like someone calling Ben Shapiro a "Jew rat" and then someone who ideologically is opposed to Shapiro, like me, calling that statement "anti-semitic" makes you think that now I'm defending Shapiro's economic philosophies.
They very well understand that is the narrative in Midwest states. They just believe that is a very exaggerated narrative.
Pathetic justification to support a racist that doesn't even have your best interests at heart. What a sucker.
