    not even remotely close.

7 years younger and can shoot the ball.

    nope.

in the trade as constructed we can take back approximately $9mm more.

To match Covington we only need to send out an additional $1.5mm .

I see Hartenstein + a FRP being the price.

It's definitely debatable about whether or not this team is better than either of the LA teams. We are not balanced, we're short, and we don't have anyone who can guard their best players. We probably aren't there yet, but we probably have as good of a chance as anyone. Kellerman is being overly negative.

Rivers/Eric/House are all starting level players in the NBA. Jeeze. We'd probably need another back up center (Nene?) because I see IH going out for him but jeeze that's a strong squad.

Honestly I think if they change the offense a little bit, as it has been discussed many times here, they can work it out.
We still need desperately a good 3/4 long and athletic to cover some of the weaknesses of Westbrook and the backcourt in general.
With that said, elite defenses like Warriors's, Clippers ..will certainly find a way to counter.
As everyone knows, trading for Westbrook was a huge risk, but a lesser risk than killing the team slowly with Paul in the remaining three or four years of Harden prime.
It's not like Durant was coming here, or Thompson or Davis, the opportunity presented itself after George went to LA, so you risk with Westbrook.
One thing guaranteed: it's gonna be fun

Yea, he cannot be a full time back up C at this point.

CC is playing 30-32 minutes a night, not accounting for injuries.

Do you expect TC to be able to play 16-18 minutes a game at 35?

    ;)

    He's 28, not 33.
He's under contract for 3 more years($36M), not someone they risk losing if they don't trade him.

i don't see why not? that's why hes here for. less than 10 mins a half. if he can't do that then, he shouldn't have been signed in the first place. and you're also not taking into account the rockets going small without CC or chandler so he should be just fine

In theory yes but injuries add up. Nene should be added when all the dust settles. It seems like he's still interested in coming back and we have his bird rights.

Whatever happens, the sooner the better so that the new team can build some cohesion before the regular season begins. Thankfully, there is plenty of time to get the machine oiled.

Need to get the highest seeding possible, namely #1. We want the two LA teams to eventually meet up in the 2nd round resulting in a bloodbath.
