He’s only 26 years old. I’m not getting my hopes up, but wouldn’t be surprised if he’s matured (and been humbled) over the last 6 years.
This dude gonna be the go to guy for Daryl Morey and greasy Keith Jones when they order takeaway food or he gonna go with them for them late night McD and whataburger drive throughs @Rasheed
Hey I said it last season too, Bennett should be better than the scrubs on our SL team. Dude was picked no 1 for a reason...besides Cavs FO being garbage. Benett was an analytics dream in college scored at a high clip and stuffed the stat sheet. Unfortunately he partied too hard and gained weight his first summer and couldnt shake that off, then he got injured and developed asthma soI guess thats the time he became an all out scrub. But as a NG contract def worth it imo, we need a backup PF with range and he can be that guy.
This guy learned how to shoot - don't be surprised if he exceed expectations as a low-end role player
If true, that's just pathetic. It must be true. Even in G League, he couldn't compete. After 4 teams trying him and spitting him back out, why the hell do teams even bother with this guy? Non-guaranteed sounds just about right.
Of course he isnt gonna start with PJ Tucker still on the squad. But Tucker can mentor him and if he is humbled and motivated we can give him a Houseesque deal next year.
He had health issues he developed asthma which according to him made it hard to run on the court and keep off the weight. It's also his work ethic thats why I'm not that sold on Zion. But now imo it's different as he developed a lethal 3 pt shot. You cant do that without putting in a lot of work.
Sure. Low risk look at a guy who's had a few years to buff out the massive holes in his game. I expect absolutely nothing but why not give him a training camp look with no strings attached.
lmfao I thought I was the only one that noticed he calls every 1st round pick a "number 1 draft pick"
