chandler shot almost 10% better from the field. had a similar Ortg and Drtg even though he was on a far worse team. better TS%. better rebound rate. same block and steal rates. more win shares on a far worse team. same Obpm, better Dbpm. better Vorp.

nene has a better % 0-3 ft and a much lower TO rate.

considering they are the same age, played about the same games (half) and same minutes last year, I'd lean chandler almost in every way. the turnover rate is bothersome but he helps us improve over nene with size, rebounding, and defense.

Clyde will be happy about that last part.

Hey, Vince is only 6 years older than Tyson. Let's go all-AARP and grab him!

As experienced as he is, sadly he's still better than Hartenstein. Maybe a year of getting bullied in practice will get Harty to where he needs to be mentally

    As of right now:

    Russ/ Rivers
    Harden/Shumpert
    Gordon/ Green/ Clark
    Tucker/ House
    Capela/ Chandler/ Hartestein

I'd love to see a little more "power" in the PF depth. Otherwise, this is a better lineup than where we started last season.

All the Rockets need is a quality 3&D SF or Stretch 4 to put Gordon back on the bench terrorizing 2nd units and I like the Rockets chances next year.

    Rivers
    Gordon
    Green
    House
    Chandler

    That’s a decent bench.

Sources: Morey was given the order from Mike Dan & Tony to complete this transaction.

"Free throws? Nah, I wouldn't worry about that. Nobody mentions them at contract time."

We need an athletic 6'9 wing or 4 to run the court and finish when russ is pushing it up court.

Great move. I like this a lot!

Capela can have a seat on the bench when it’s time for a real center to take care of business.

Hartenstein seems to be developing nicely.
I’d be fine going into the season cap/ hart/ Chands

barring trade I think holiday would be a nice 3D SF for us.

iggy isn't a great shooter unless its clutch. he'd be a good backup 3/4. covington would be the holy grail. OPJ probably too expensive but perfect fit otherwise.

if the rockets can get another starting forward at put ego on the bench I'd be excited.

Great signing, but I still hope there’s another plan for our actual backup center in the event of an injury or a scenario where the backup is required to play heavy minutes.

That’s not going to be Chandler. As others have mentioned, Chandler will be a 10 MPG & every other night kind of guy.

Maybe it’s Hart? Maybe it’s someone else?

Wait a minute, you actually used stats instead of just saying a clearly inferior player was better? That's cheating! ;)
