Also, I vividly remember alot of CFers last post season not wanting to play OKC because WB always played well against us.

When we all think Morey is the chessplayer... he is just a piece to be moved...

Was Morey directed to close the deal after Harden ask for it or was this initiated by Tilman?

This is my worst nightmare. A good GM (and in Morey's case, the best GM this team has ever had) is the lifeblood of a franchise. Look at how quickly the Astros dropped off when Hunsicker left, and the clown show on Kirby drive who have never had a competent GM. Hunsicker left when he and Drayton couldn't get on the same page when it came to re-signing Beltran, he got fed up and went to the Rays and immediately made them respectable.

Even if Morey wasn't fully on board with the trade I just hope Tilman backs off with the overreaching and doesnt drive Morey out of town.

If a GM is upset or fed up, can they just quit?

I wasn't one of them but I'm sure you're right s apparently 70%+ on this board approve of this trade. Doesn't change that we added one of the least efficient chuckers in the history of the NBA and mark my words. We will not be better unless he comes back next year and suddenly knows how to shoot. If he could shoot that would solve like 85% of my problems with him. But he's a historically bad shooter now. Can't even hit free throws anymore.

Of course they can. And who knows how far away we are from Daryl just saying "eff it" and going somewhere else. Any team in the NBA would want him.

Make sense.... since it didn't cost Fertita any money...but signing free agents would require to spend some money...

I don’t like “the Tilmans” being used

not really feeling his son being involved in major transactions

This. Everybody on this forum hated him for good reason up until 12 hours ago. There’s endless Westbrook clowning and posts on how much he sucks and now we got people referring to him as “Black Jesus”. Gtfo here.

Westbrick is a selfish, stat chasing, ball stopping, overrated chucker that can’t shoot worth a F****ing lick. Always has been and always will be. Dawning Rockets red ain’t gonna change the fact that he’s immune from playing loser basketball.

I’m not surprised the majority of the Harden Fanbois that think he can do no wrong and choose to ignore his shortcomings are mostly the ones in favor of this trade and already seem to have forgotten who Westbrick really is.

We’ll probably lose Morey soon, see CP3 return to Point God status & help a legit contender sooner rather than later and we’ll have another disappointing playoffs led by Harden and WB. All this while mortgaging our future.

    ****ing Westbrick. God damnit!

The owner is always the ultimate decision maker. That's the way it is, and the way it should be.

This trade will make the top 30 of worst trades of all time. Certainly one of the worst in recent years.
At least we know it's not Morey who lost his mind and commited this attrocity but the lunatic owner.
