Hate him or hate him, I accept him because I love the Rockets more than I dislike Westbrook. I don't know if we can be better than Chris Paul's first year, but I think we'll definitely be better than Chris Paul's second year, since we're basically upgrading from MIA to Westbrook.

I think rebounding and emotional intensity are going to be big improvements over Paul. I'm hoping those dud playoff games by Harden become a thing of the past with Westbrook leading emotionally.

I'm curious if Westbrook is open to coaching and adjusting his game. Shot selection and decision making will become a MAJOR topic of discussion after losses I'm sure this coming year. We haven't had these talks since Steve Francis left.

Now what? I want another SF and PF... I pay no attention to the salary cap discussions, so I have no idea if we even have an option to grab someone. if we don't, we're going to get pretty frustrated there as well this year.

 

Prolly or Capela

 

I’m sure at some point down the line, a movie will be made about all of this. Durant, Harden, Westbrook, and the OKC franchise and how they shaped the NBA for nearly a decade.

 

For Gordon I would. Not Capela. We need height.

 

I'm worried about Russ and PJ on the floor together ... running over each other diving for loose balls and chasing rebounds .... we're younger, bigger and more aggressive. We also have a better shot getting better FA vets at minimum. That should offset the picks we gave up...

 

Morey ends up with Durant when he’s 38. He can say he had all of prestis sloppy seconds.

 

Morey did great; didn’t trade Capela, Tucker, or Gordon who are not world beaters but big parts of our team and got rid of that albatross contract in cp3 and got a (?) upgrade

He's definitely a top 10 player (top 5 talent)..and will likely look/have the impact of a top 5 player with us. Splitting hairs just to save face and be negative, eh? Bad form.

I agree we need height but I think we can replace what Capela does easier then what Gordon does imp.

This trade shouldn’t have been the one that held up the official player-signings. There should be more trades brewing.

 

I'm not sure what to think of this. Will miss Chris for sure and hope he lands somewhere like Miami where they'll be pretty good, or even the Lakers somehow.

Westbrook, let's just say he's got heart. I hope it works out. Obviously when the Rockets go small they'll be pretty scary, but I'll miss watching CP3 play, especially with the Rocket's 2nd unit.
