    How the hell is this a worse trade? CP3 was bad all last season...he couldn't take over when we needed him to. At least with WB, if Harden is not making plays, then the other can take over. More likely, is they'll be feeding off of each other especially especially at crunch time. Not that I wanted CP3 traded but to me it make sense because I think Harden/WB >>>>> than Harden/CP3. Go Rockets!!!

    have about the same feelings on why melo wouldn't work here and wb. he just isn't a good fit for this team.

    im not looking forward to all the problems that come with this unusual pairing at this point of their careers

    His contract is too big to get bought out.

    But I dont see whos gonna trade for him either, maybe the Lakers if they are desperate. Or the Bucks if they are desperate...i have no idea why i threw them out there but there you go.

    We know we know. This will be Harden's team. Russ and Harden are at least more interesting than Harden and CP3.

    I preferred doing nothing. The only thing that will console me is if further reporting clarifies that the Harden-Paul relationship had become totally unsalvageable.

    I don't think enough people are talking about the 2021 pick swap. That's the double draft year and it might be really good for Houston if OKC goes full on rebuilding

    Yeah baby!!

    I'm not a huge Russ fan, but when he plays 'downhill' at speed, good things happen. He is a great foil for Harden, brings something totally different.

    Put them both in attack mode and it js backcourt beastmode

    Not sure about the fit, but getting out of the Chris Paul contract worth it. If this blows up, can always try to flip Russ for something next year.

    They were trying to do right by WB and send him to his preferred destination.

    I'm guessing that they will try to flip him for expiring contracts. Wonder if Miami is interested?
