Morrey gave Kwai to the clippers with his stupid trades and now gave cp3 to lakers for a trade that makes no sense . Westbrook going to learn to hit the 3 now ? Lol . This is a disaster that might lead to harden wanting a trade . Unbelievably bad !!!!!!! From a analytic standpoint cp3 is a far better pg for us than Westbrook ... morrey again ****s us

 

I don't think we should be blaming Morey for this. When your franchise player draws a line in the sand, there's only so much one can do. It's like blaming Presti for trading PG13 to the Clippers.

I can finally start watching the NBA again. This wild offseason is much needed for this league, I was so tired of Stephanie and those pansies in the Bay Area, now at least more than a few teams have a legit shot at the Chip. Close to a decade since Harden and Westbrook played together, I think they have grown up and put aside their differences, where do we go from here, nobody knows, but it will be an interesting ride. Getting rid of Paul is a bonus for me, he is like a noose around our collective neck, bleeding us for every freaking dollar for what seems like an eternity.

Lower floors and higher ceilings baby! I like it. When you are contending, or at least trying too, its championship or bust. Keeping CP3 was the safe play but that iteration of the team wasn't going to get it done. At least with this trade, you give yourself a chance. It probably also keeps Harden in town for the foreseeable future.

 

I’m a huge Morey fan, I think he’s brilliant. There’s NO WAY this was his decision. Russell Westbrook is the worst basketball player in the National Basketball Assocation. Stunningly bad trade. It’s on par with Sam Presti trading James Harden...but at least OKC didn’t know who Harden would become. We’ve seen Russ shoot his team out of the playoffs for years now. Horrible.

 

Hypothetically would Butler have worked on this team with Russ and Harden? Like if we had been able to swing both trades?

 

Wow. Why would OKC want CP3 for Wes? They can't do better than CP3?

 

Before the last season, it was hard to argue CP3 was a better player than Westbrook.. I love this trade, we still have assets for a 3rd Star!!

 

I guess this explains that CP3 really hates Har_en.
