Wonder how Westbrook is going to mesh with harden. Last time they were together harden ran the 2nd unit

How is trading an aging, injury-prone PG for a younger, more athletic PG a desperate move? I don't understand why people are hating so hard. Westbrook is not going to play the same way he did when he was "the man" in OKC. He'll play like he did when Harden was running point when they were in OKC, which means a lot of open shots for WB...

I hope Harden learns how to play more off ball this off-season because Westbrook is even worse than Harden at that aspect.

I really doubt CP3 will finish with OKC anyways.

I don't agree with this move (although I'm fully prepared to be wrong). But I get it.

We lost the FA arms race horribly... we had to do something.

We got younger, we didn't destroy our core... but jesus H christ this looks like a TERRIBLE fit on paper.

I think Westbrook is a better player than Paul, and will also make Harden a better player as someone Harden trusts who can hold him accountable.

Yet Westbrook made the Finals with Durant and almost did it a second time. Harden made the Finals with Westbrook and Durant and almost made it a second time with CP3. This "they're ballhogs and this will end badly" is stupid crap cooked up by the media and unfortunately there are fans who buy it hook like and sinker.

I don't see him spending the duration of his contract there. Paul is done on an all-star level....not because he's not talented but because his body is betraying him. I could see him pushing for a buyout to play with LBJ. But who knows what he'll have left to offer by that point.

Btw...how does the salary work? Do we get more cap space to add depth?

LOL. I really didn’t see Morey making a move like this. I’m wondering how much this was him versus Tillman.

This definitely feels like a Tilman move. Morey isn't analytically a Morey player.

Agreed. No way a small market team is going to want to pay that much for a declining soon to be 35-year-old pg. I'm surprised they aren't already talking about buying him out.
