Before the discussions did not involve Chris Paul..... although I suppose that could change. I still think he ends up in Miami or NY.
Rockets giving up multiple first round picks for a longer and more expensive contract than Chris Paul’s would truly be an awful move, but with how bad these past two offseasons have gone, I would not put it past us.
Yeahhhh if this is actually going to happen, I would MUCH rather give up first round picks than anybody of use on our roster.
Yea but would rather trade Cp3. Sources: almost time for the “I told you so”. Russ to htown is happening soon.
next we’ll find out that Westbrook started following a few Rockets players on Instagram and Morey and Tad Brown started following him, CF will get excited, and then a few days later we’ll find out he’s been traded to Miami
once we get an article stating that the Rockets are confident, that will be my signal to know it’s definitely not happening and I can put this Brickbrook saga to bed
I see how this is gonna go. we're gonna keep all our assets on the table for a possible rus trade which is a long shot at best. meanwhile Memphis will move iggy and crowder for picks and ending contracts. the wolves will move covington for picks and ending contracts. the thunder will move Roberson for picks and ending contracts. and then rus will be traded to the heat and we will have missed out on other potential pieces. I'm ok moving on from star chasing and just building a great team around James. lets just add another role player or two and compete. better than holding out hope for a star and not improving the team. that's what teams stuck in mediocrity do.
