Pretty sure Butler did the same regarding Houston a couple of weeks ago. Rockets didn't even get a meeting.
It’s funny how players or even people in general will talk so bad about a city like Houston and then you find out that they’ve never even passed by. And then you have guys like Bobby Brown who is from California and loves Houston because he’s actually stayed here for a while. Ever wonder why there is so many athletes that live here?
Westbrook on the Rockets makes absolutely no sense for any of the involved parties. Why is this even a thing?
These twitter and instagram things are literally jokes at this point, in fact, everytime something like this happens, the player ends up in another team.
I've grown to HATE threads that are centered around players and execs "liking" things on social media.
The only way Westbrook makes sense is if they trade CP3. And if that's the case the Rockets will need a third team, so OKC can salary dump, plus the Rockets are going to unass 3-4 (1sts) to facilitate a deal.
If the Rockets are ACTUALLY interested in acquiring Westbrook, and Houston is where Russ wants to be, I think a 3 team trade between Miami, OKC, and Houston makes all the sense in the world. Miami gets CP3, OKC gets Olynyk + whoever else + 2 firsts from Houston + 1 first from OKC, and Houston gets Westbrook + maybe a 2nd rounder from OKC for taking on an extra year of salary.
