Confront the fake insiders?

They have and will continue to be called out but will just double or triple down like some of our very own fake insiders on this forum like basketaballaholic

 

They have been.

Broussard has been exposed several times and largely is living off his time at ESPN.

Goodwill had some legitimate connections in Detroit when he covered them. However his connections were players, and those aren't the connections you want if you are going to last long. He doubled down on the CP3 story and was exposed.

Even guys like Windhorst and Zach Lowe package a lot of their own opinions as facts and have a hard time getting to the truth. Zach Lowe is an outsider to an extent, and Windhorst just doesn't seem to understand the culture of the NBA..... for example his reporting of the players like liking Harden for drawing fouls and his reporting of the JR Smith soup incident.

 

This is a widespread problem with Sports Infotainment these days.

Even a reputable insider like Woj speaks out of both sides of his mouth because ESPN constantly forces him on-air to get to the scoop on potential breaking news. So, Woj now spews more opinions than actual facts.

There was a time when you had actual journalists doing the reporting for ESPN, but now it's all pundits and fake insiders.

 

Apparently fake news is protected by the second amendment.

 

What exactly do you hope to gain by "confronting" them?

 

Dude you realize these are shows for ratings
Same like American Idol or CSI or the Kardashians

It always gets ratings and they always get the last word

 

Agreed. So what’s the point? Nothing to gain by helping them out.

Thanks to outraged fans calling in so they can get yelled at and then he can get the last word cause it's his show and he never loses due to that

sponsors and advertisers out the wazoo , axe body spray, Taco Bell etc jump on this

and the pissed off fans will suddenly want a Doritos taco

 

It's equally amazing how in this day and age you don't realize that the Rockets won our only TWO championships when Sir Les ALexander was OWNER
