Taller than 6'8? We'd be lucky to get someone at least 6'8. Last year we looked like the Houston Munchkins. Besides Clint, it was the 6'5 and under team.
Someone please post updated list. Not that it matters (****in front office ain't doing ****) but just for **** and giggles

I think one of the serious flaws in the #runitback strategy, is that we weren’t really good enough with the current roster until Jeff Biz D came back. Now Jeff Biz D is gone. Does anyone remember the first 30 games of the season? Why do we expect this team to be comparable to last year’s team? Our guys are older and our defensive difference-maker is gone...oh and the west is actually stronger. How can Morey run out the same roster as last year and tell the fans we’ve improved?
Just baffling that we can't even get a guy like Tyson Chandler signed for the minimum yet. We have to fill out the roster sooner or later so I am just amazed as to how we haven't even signed 1 minimum guy yet that wasn't on our roster last year. They have to make a flurry of vet min signings over the next couple of weeks. I hope and pray there is some sort of method to their madness but I really have my doubts. Ennis signed with us on 07/11 last year so I am hoping by the end of this week we will have a solid addition to this squad that we will all be lied to about how good of a fit they are only to be let down in the 1st preseason game.
6'10" power forward who can shoot from distance some and rebounds 8 times per 36 minutes.. I might give that a shot at this point. For the minimum of course. Other guys I think might be worth a look: Jerryd Bayless Henry Ellenson Vince Carter Jerian Grant Jonas Jerebko Amir Johnson (kind of always liked the guy) Kosta Koufos (fairly high on my list of who's left) Jarell Martin Jodie Meeks Greg Monroe for the rebounding David Nwaba (active player, seems wise on defense) Cameron Payne (I'm not super hot on him) Milos Teodosic (those turnovers would go down in Houston's offense) Ekpe Udoh (3.5 blks per 36) Troy Williams Ivica Zubac (yet another NBA Croatian sensation)
I’d really like Lyles and Koufos, they would complete our frontline and could even contribute in playoffs rotation. Wouldn’t mind Faried, Jerebko and Bayless for regular season depth. Still lack a large wing to compete with House, but none suitable available in FA market. It seems Morey is looking to trade for one or going to wait for the buyout market.
Okay so we have: Paul/Rivers at point Harden/Gordon at sg House/Green at SF Tucker/Gary Clark at PF Capela/Hartenstein at center Is that right? Ponds could be extra point depth. It feels like we still need 4 additions. 1 Center/1 PF/1 SF&1Guard Koufos/Faried/Jerebko and Bayless would be enough to fill that. Good luck getting all 4 though!
Rockets playoff depth right now. PG: Paul / Rivers SG: Harden / Gordon SF: House / ??????? PF: Tucker / ??????? C: Capela / ???????? Regular season depth: Green, Clark, Hartenstein, Chris Chiozza, Michael Frazier Other than Gerald Green, can we count on those other guys for even regular season depth? The Rockets have not signed A SINGLE Vet Min guy from the pool of FAs that were not on this team last year. Credit for the Rivers signing (likely a wink-wink with early bird rights next season...something Moute turned down). I am 100% baffled with this offseason.
Wow. That is a really terrible list. David Nwaba is the only name that appeals to me and it's only because he makes a decent back up on 2K if your coach utilizes a defense system. That's literally the only thing I know about him.
Maybe the highest that we can max out a S&T with Shumpert? Even then I think Phoenix has every intention of matching offers for Oubre. They are clearly pulling a Capela on him right now and letting the market determine his worth.
At this point, with all the decent FAs gone. I am gonna trust the process here. Tyson Chandler+Shump and/or hopefully we end up picking up someone decent on a trade or buyout.
