Oklahoma City Is trading F Jerami Grant to Denver for a 2020 first-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Deal brings OKC it’s sixth future first in past week and saves Thunder $39M in salary and luxury tax. Woj bomb
Lol, u made your account in 2009, and your 2nd post is this? I don’t get it. still waiting for my fireworks
Or it could be he just likes to be a lurker and posts once or twice every decade or so. Edit to add: I like Grant's game, even though his 3 point shot isn't great. Dude is pretty versatile defensively is really long, has great athleticism and energy.
If that’s all it took then wow. Good job Morey on missing out on a really good player your team could’ve obviously used.
To be fair, the Thunder didn’t want to take back any salary, and the Rockets didn’t have a trade exception large enough to make the deal work.
Which in itself is understandable, but to use one of those posts about Grant and Nuggets? That's the confusing part. If it was Butler or Westbrook or even RR's thread about the overwhelming negative minority, I would understand.
they added a bunch of salary trading into one of their exceptions. suckers, no LTS for them -- sometimes when you win you really lose!
He signed up too late to break the February 2009 Keith Bogans/cash for Tyronn Lue swap between Orlando and Milwaukee and saw this as a chance to get back into the game. Give the man his due, patience is neither easily taught nor learned.
Can we move these to NBA dish? Having all these new threads about who the Rockets aren't signing or trading for is starting to depress me
Morey and Tilman have once again just elected to let free agency completely pass them by. They’ll say the usual “we are planning to save this money for the buyout market”, but they now once again are playing catch up and are behind many West teams. I’d say as it stands today...the Rockets are probably 4th or 5th in the West behind LAC, UTAH, LAL, and DEN. A third of the roster is going to be G-Leaguers. Just moronic. I liked the House and Rivers deals, for sure. But they don’t represent any sort of progress. Just more standing pat.
