In all this caos i didn't realize that the Miami picks (the 2021 is unprotected) are now in Presti's ends...that's actually a pretty good point Lowe makes.

Dammit, the longer this Westbrook crap goes the more I want him. I didn’t want to even think about Westbrook on Rockets this morning. Now I want him. Just end the Westbrook saga already!!!!

So the addition of a RoCo or Iggy wouldn't put us close to the LA teams in your estimation?

Also, I'd see it more likely that those types of players come to Houston via trade than WB because of the shear amount of assets it'd take to get him. But I guess you're thinking of using some combo of Ego/Cap/PJ to get him.

For the season WB shot 29%. I didn't say anything about CP3. I'm just indicating WB isn't an automatic answer, whatever may happen.

But if you want to fortify your status as one of the douchiest dickwads on the BBS, feel free.

    Lowe:

What are the complications for OKC as they try to find someone to take that contract on?

Finding someone who wants to take that contract on. Seriously. That's a huge amount of money for someone trending the wrong way & hasn't developed a jump shot. You guys both know, when the athleticism goes, the jump shot is what saves you. I'm not sure he has it. A lot of teams that need point guards are so young, it doesn't make sense. It'll be hard to find a match.

I wish Chris Paul’s jump shot was still good after his athleticism went away

I can really see Morey making a trade if OKC doesn't get an offer they like, especially if Harden wants Westbrook here.

i'll start by saying i'm not a big fan of westbrook's game. and lean towards wanting no part of him on the rockets. but regarding athleticism, i've seen with some players that it can actually be a detriment to shooting. clyde was an example (he actually released his shot on the way down!). they jump so high and easily that it often throws their shot off. westbrook could be such a player. he seems to be getting max elevation even on wide-open spot up 3's. perhaps as he ages and settles down a bit that touch from deep might improve

in CP3's case that mid-range jumper in the paint and stand still J over the defender from the baseline both require him to get a lot of lift, due to his short height. so as he's aged now those shots are getting less and less effective. still he could be a much better player next to harden if he just improved his catch-n-shoot 3

If theres any plans on having westbrook here, I think this video does a great explanation of what he would be bringing after this 2019 season.

What I like is that if were able to keep cp3 somehow, we'll have another playmaker and keep cp3 well rested. Not only that, he has great athleticism to attack the basket to force defenders to help. Also, he's helpful in grabbing rebounds because of his athleticism.

I would say if we do have a chance to get him, I would want to. At least with westbrook, he has more years of his prime than cp3. And if we are able to somehow keep cp3 through this, then I'd do it. It all depends on what's being given up and how to work the trade with his contract.

    Please let this happen.

This team already is the most hated team in the NBA.

With Westbrook, this no doubt will be the most hated team in the history of the sport.

I can’t wait to see the meltdown everyday here in CF.

    LOL,

when is CP3 known for “his athleticism” in any stage of his career?

    The hate is so funny.

Guys... Any talk of WB coming here to Houston would mean that CP3 is on his way OUT. Period. I am willing to bet that the Rockets are looking to package a trade scenario with the Lakers in order to move CP3 to LA, OKC to get young talent from LA to build around and WB to Houston. Just IMO. If there is any smoke to the WB story.

Just what the Rockets need: another ball hog and low percentage three point shooter. Although, train wrecks while tragic are ........
