Fun fact: We have 6’4 pf and sf right now and Westbrook jumps higher than both of them combined

I'm hoping the Rockets in putting this info out there get calls that could potentially set up other deals. I doubt Houston has any shot at Westbrook, but taking advantage of facilitating a deal to another team sounds juicy.

Every single one of you guys would love Westbrook in short order. Dude leaves everything on the floor, and with Harden controlling the tempo that Westbrook has never been able to grasp, we would be scaryyy.

    I don't want Westbrook, period.

However, I would love Morey to get his tentacles in there to facilitate a deal between OKC and Miami.

    Miami:
    Russell Westbrook ($38,506,482)

    OKC:
    Goran Dragic ($19,217,900)
    Eric Gordon ($14,057,730)
    2 First Round Pick (Rockets)
    First Round Pick (Heat)

    Houston:
    Jutise Winslow ($13,000,000)

Heat get their 2nd superstar to pair with Jimmy Butler while giving up the least amount of assets possible.

Thunder gets immediate salary cap relief with $33 million in expiring contracts plus three first round picks. Presti can also potentially flip Eric Gordon to a contender at the trade deadline for possibly another first round pick. This is the best OKC can hope to get since they know Westbrook has negative trade value everywhere except for a handful of teams.

Rockets finally land a true Houstonian (not the Tomball loser) in Justise Winslow who is excellent fit at small forward. He's 6-7, young, athletic, plays good defense, can shoot the 3PT with efficiency (.375 and .380 the last two season). This is the perfect 3-and-D wing player the Rockets have been looking for since Ariza and Moute's departure. Plus, Winslow has an excellent contract -- 3 years / $13 million -- which is absolutely worth giving up 2 first round picks for.

    Lineup...

    Paul / Rivers
    Harden / Green
    Winslow / House
    Tucker / Faried
    Capela

Losing Gordon and his offensive production will be tough, but the time to flip him for value is right now before his next contract is due. Plus, the Rockets already have good depth at guard. We need to add a quality defensive wing next to Tucker now that we have to go up against LeBron, Kawhi, George, etc in the West to contend for a championship.

That would be interesting to see if Harden would bring the ball up with Westbrook given the typical SG duties. Would that increase his efficiency?

He doesnt leave everything on the floor. He tries to DO everything on the floor. He can't win with KD. Cant win with PG. I'm good.

You're responding to a comment about twitter responses with a comment about IG responses, then get offended when someone mentions the Twitter response lol. I simply pointed out who he is responding to in this thread, I don't follow every comment Morey's replies to on IG. You claim to not have time to respond to your many friends lol, but have time to view every one of Morey's 50+ replies a day, okayyy

Yea Westbrook is garbage. The only thing he leaves on the floor is his all his missed shots.

Nope ! Westbrook is even worse than James off the ball. He can't shoot and never cuts. James is at least a good catch and shoot guy (Dantoni is an idiot).

Fun fact! One of the topics that the majority of the members here, as best I can tell, manage to agree upon is that the Rockets, in the main, are too short. I'm not wild about getting shorter, not at that salary, and not for that player. In my opinion, of course.

It did in OKC. When he and Harden played together they were a beautiful match. Harden is smart enough to take advantage of Westbrook's strengths, and Westbrook is tough enough to protect Harden in certain areas.
