I love the guy but I think his career may be over. He literally played 4 games last season.

What'd we lose bringing in the likes of Nunally, MCW, and 'Melo? A lot of time and opportunities that could have gone to better-fitting players.

Isn't his shoulder still jacked up? In a way that really doesn't ever come back 100 percent?

Bro he was injured and it would be a minimum signing. Low risk high reward move.
Nunally and MCW nothing really, they stopped getting time when they couldn’t contribute. They weren’t the main reason we started off slow. Melo was a big name coming here and was disappointing. Wasn’t all his fault either but we cut him early and Luc is not the same.

Like what person that is signing for the minimum can you see making a difference? That’s the thing about signing for the minimum, they usually aren’t big impact and they could easily be moved.

His shoulder is relatively fine, it was his knee that kept him out last year. He should be good to go.

hes still injured in case you haven't noticed. and he picked up new injuries along the way without even playing. mcw - low risk high reward. melo -low risk high reward. ennis-low risk high reward. i get sick of hearing this logic

Dunno who to target for the minimum. The list of available free agents keeps getting shorter and shorter. Meniscectomy and chondroplasty sound bad, and with a more uncertain prognosis then a run of the mill ACL tear. Anyone know typical recovery outcomes and timelines from that procedure?

If he's healthy, why not at the min? I liked him when he was here. I just don't know if he's healthy.

Since we're mentioning people that haven't been healthy since 2017, how about we trade for John Wall?

I know he's expensive but - All NBA caliber guy! and I'm hearing he's available!

He’s expected to be ready for training camp, he’s not injured.Firstly, Ennis wasn’t bad here. Secondly MCW and Melo were not the main reason we got off to our bad start, And even then they were cut when we saw we couldnt use them. It’s sound logic, those guys didn’t make a huge negative impact like you think they did. And if Luc works out it could be big.
It says in the report that he has recovered and will be ready for camp. And honestly if it turns out his injury was worse than we thought just cut them then that’s the luxury if a minimum signing.

are you just assuming. this was the same exact thing that was said about him a year ago. did he ever fix his shoulder? nope. and on top of that he has bad knees to go along with it that didnt let him play this past season.

Yeah those guys have more than their fair share of why the rockets started off so bad. doesn't matter if they were the main reason or not. they all sucked. at this point, there's no sound logic to say otherwise. it was crystal clear. good for him though to collect what he could being able to only last 4 games after an entire summer off. if he doesnt retire, he can be someone else's problem

Friend, Luc Mbah-ah-Moute is not only washed, he is sitting on a beach having a conversation with a volleyball that has a face painted on it.

"Mbah a Moute was recently ruled out for the season following a partial medial meniscectomy. The good news is he should be healthy to compete at training camp next season, where he'll try to earn another NBA contract as a veteran role player." This is the report, dude you are over exaggerating. Im not saying the injuries arent concerning, but I am saying its worth the risk over a minimum signing, which you seem to think means the end of the world, if it doesnt pan out.

Not really, it was the whole team playing bad and that includes Paul and Harden. No, Ennis did not suck, I know you dont like him, but he contributed when he could play. He even did well for Philly in the POs. MCW and Melo werent great signings, but hey we cut them and moved on to a better season. There is sound logic though lol, its a minimum signing for a dude who was one of the best perimeter defenders in the league and was a big part of our success two years ago. Dude, "someone else's problem" if he cant contribute, we cut him, simple as that. Thats what low risk high reward means. I think you are being really overly concerned about a minimum signing. If it works out, we could finally plug in our small forward role.

over exaggertating? you're the one who is set on believing this guy is healthy. this dude played a whopping 4 games in limited minutes after an entire offseason to get healthy. how in the world is that not alarming to you. and on top of that he has knee surgery. and now you want to tell everyone oh hes healthy. yeah ok. link the report. it's probably some random posts that lack a ton of credibility. and btw its a pure assumption, rather than a report that was done before the season ended. its not even up to date ffs

the offseason moves from a year ago are a waste of my time. i no longer entertain those garbage transactions. its not worth it. they sucked. they were part of the 11-14 hole that the rockets had to spend the rest of the year climbing out of. you can defend those for who know why if you want.

LOL and you and everyone in here are acting like they know the dude's medical records and say hes done? How does that make any sense? People have injuries, it happens, its part of the game. It doesnt mean hes fallen apart and can never play again. Im not saying the injuries dont concern me, im saying itd be worth a shot. The report was from Marc Stein(who is credible). And since when do I post stuff that isnt credible, are you serious?Obviously you are right, the report isnt up to date, so we dont know the exact picture of his health. But ill trust what the reports have said over what the doctors in here think they know. Obviously if hes not healthy we dont sign him but if he has recovered like the report said, I would take a chance on him. Simple as that.

Well they werent all garabage? Ennis wasnt a bad player, no matter how much you believe him to be. And Im not defending them, im saying they didnt have a huge impact on how our season went.
