nobody has voted, yet you assume the corporate dems and Soros are somehow sending her off.

And Harris has not been campaigning as a moderate she is to the left of Biden and all other moderates.

Conversations like these are mind-numbing. It's like most people have no comprehension of the differences between ethnicity, nationality and skin pigmentation.

Good post, glynch. I detest people who mishear questions purposefully to given them an opportunity to provide a dodgy answer. This is deception and manipulation. The Clintons perfected the craft.

Heels Up Harris lacks the authenticity to create enthusiasm among her base. The media is trying their best to pump her up and market her like a bottle of Pepsi, a la Obama. But she lacks charisma and more importantly, she lacks principles. Say what you will about the insanity of Bernie Sanders' policy positions, but at least the man sticks to his principles. Even The_Conquistador can appreciate that, despite believing the opposite of pretty much everything Sanders stands for.

    GOOD DAY

Because of the lack of self-awareness where Trumpists would unironically warn of dictatorship or because you actually think it's humorous in its own right?

Oh, it is a conspiracy to think a lot of politicians campaign on what they think is popular even if they don't mean it?
It is just a conspiracy that politicians might support what their donors want?

    Oh, well

Calif voters would disagree, as she had won 2 state-wide elections.

no better eg than Donald Trump
he was for abortion, he then flip his position to win the religious right vote
he was for the Iraq war, after the fiasco, he flip his position
when Obama was POTUS, he was attacking the Fed for lowering interest rate, because, according to him, it'd weaken the US$
    • as president, he has flipped attacking his hand-picked Fed chair for not lowering interest rate
he had always voiced his support for tax relief for the middle class, until 2018 when he /Turtle face / spineless Pau Rian passed the tax cuts for the oligarchs (top 1%), at the expense of the middle class
actually, she has always been a moderate

why are you singling out Dems. and intentionally omitted to mention the Rep?

the Trump 2020 campaign has already raised more $ than all the Dem candidates combined; overwhelming of that is from Corp Rep

Harris is in it for Harris and no one else. Her actual politics are law and order based and far more centrist than she portrays. Look no further than her time as a prosecutor.

I don’t like her because she is so obviously transparent. She prepares and plans out zingers ahead of time. Look no further than her comments to Biden, and then immediate T-shirt’s for sale... it was planned.

I have had a few white moderates tell me they are uncomfortable with Harris because they believe she hates white people. I find that very odd, because she IS establishment and is trying to personally profit off women and minorities. She is very establishment.

The Republicans seem very interested in determining what exactly qualifies someone as black in America. I remember the claims that Obama wasn’t black because he was raised by his white mother and grandparents. Yet he also some how was born in Africa. Now with Harris she apparently doesn’t pass the “black test” for the Republicans.

For a party that slams democrats for playing identity politics, the Republicans are playing a lot of identity politics.

Shapiro.... doesn’t see the irony that he will vote for the man that had expanded the power of the executive to levels not seen in nearly 100 years... yet he can quip about a comment made by another candidate.

Shapiro has always lacked perspective though, so not really a surprise.

With all due respect, glynch, you are becoming a perfect example of what our party does to itself. Why we lost because of people like you eating our own. In your obsession with clinging to your “principals,” no matter the cost, you and those like you, as they did with Hillary Clinton, would hand the election to those who are the worst thing to happen to this country since we fought our bitter enemies in World War II.

I’m not saying Harris is the end all and be all of anything. I have not idea, at this point, who will be our nominee. What I do know is that you represent those who would rather lose than compromise. Tell me. What did refusing to compromise gain us in 2016? Two right wing Supreme Court judges? Dozens and dozens of lifetime appointees to Federal District Courts and the like? Chaos in our government? The refusal to accept science because it hurts profits? Hundreds of billions of dollars given to the wealthiest in our country? The treatment of our allies like they are of no account, allies who stood beside us during and after WWII, during the Cold War, after 9/11? Who stand beside us still, wondering if they should? The strengthening of our enemies at our own expense? A tariff war that is an act of madness? Looming inflation? I could go on, but I think that’s enough.

Happy with your principals? How about being more concerned with winning the next election? Just a thought.

Sanders 2020 is already up on blocks in the front yard.

Maybe you could toss your "support" - such as it is - to Warren or Marianne Williamson or somebody else who has more of a chance than Bernie.

Otherwise, nobody needs your Internet Research Agency-lite style of dipshittery.

Actually I think this guy is more of an outlier than an example - presuming it's even teh same guy manipulating the account, who knows; he still is more or less on board with Trump in thinking that Russia is a hoax.

He's one of those Putin Progressives along with Glenn Greenwald and Julian Assange. They're the exception, rather than the rule, no matter how many bots tell you differently.

traitor publicizing that he doesn't understand what urban means.

don't impose ur ignorance on the board.

just look at her state-wide election records
she is from the less populated No Calif region
her opponents were from the more populated So Calif region
she beat them at their home court, she won the votes in So Calif, all the urban areas and suburbia Orange County

her opponents (in enemy territory) had already tried that, it didn't work.
she beat her opponents in their home court

Sorry, I should have provided a link or two. Not everyone follows things. I remember reading about Soros and Harris as soon as she was going to run for Senate

Clinton Donors Have Picked Their 2020 Democratic Presidential Nominee
The wealthy are lining up and rallying behind Sen. Kamala Harris
    By Michael Sainato • 07/17/17 12:15pm

Since Hillary Clinton’s unexpected loss to Donald Trump, her donors have strategized with Democratic leadership about how to revive the failing party. Billionaire George Soros held a closed door conference with wealthy donors in November 2016 that addressed how to “take back power” and was attended by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. On the weekend of Trump’s inauguration, David Brock hosted a retreat for the most prolific Democratic donors to figure out how to “kick Donald Trump’s ass.” On July 15, Page Six reported that Sen. Kamala Harris, a potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate
