Blazers are our main competition for a KLove trade. Whiteside..Collins, Simons, Nassir Little and up to 4 picks are their assets. That would be a nice haul for the Cavs. We need to come at them with more picks....(hint) plus our youngsters...

 

I’m with Evan Turner. Did the Blazers really improve their roster? Seems meh to me.

People have been crapping bob Whiteside for years. Stats with no impact. No all of a sudden he’s great??

I agree, they added Bazemore, Whiteside, Hezonja and Little (still unproven) but they lost Aminu, Harkless, Turner, Kanter, Curry...

Of this group of players, the best defender is Aminu, the best shooters are Harkless and Curry. Kanter and Whiteside are different players, but Kanter while a poor defender, always delivers on offense, Whiteside is just a guy who will play well in one game, and like trash in the next one so, i'm not even sure i'd take him over Kanter. And as today i'd take Curry over Hezonja, at least he's elite in one aspect of the game.

So, overall, i just don't see an upgrade in that roster tbh, especially cause i think Aminu and Harkless were a big part of their improved defense.
