All of those teams HAD to improve because they were worse than us. Except for the Warriors, who got demonstrably worse in the last week, regardless of how many players they signed. And as of now, the Lakers do not have Kawhi. Not making major changes isn't so horrible, considering we've been the second best team in the league over the last two seasons.
I'll ignore the Cartwright joke. Sure, be happy to add Marcus Morris. My expectation is that he will sign with the Lakers.
The Jazz are taking the quantity-over-quality approach. (Except Conley. He is the man. I'm gutted that he ended up there.)
Worst part of Conley situation is that Jazz fans are already super defensive and now they'll have "the most underrated PG in the league (despite everyone singing his praises all the time)" to defend.

Sure , but our roster is old . Historically that means we will trend down while younger rosters get better . I'm happy we were able to bring back rivers and house on nice deals , but Paul is a year older , pj plays so hard its going to catch up eventually . God forbid if harden doesn't take another step forward lol . Look there's time for us to bring people in (which we need to do) but I don't blame people for being frustrated . Solid vets are getting picked up for the minimum and we must be really confident in Clark and Hartenstein lol . I'm big fans of those guys , but we need depth MDA will actually play . Or front office talked a big talk even when it was unlikely that anything would come to fruition in terms of a big move (we had limited space , not great assets ) I'm not mad we don't have butler I'm not mad we brought back house and rivers I'm not mad we haven't brought in other guys yet I'm just saying that it needs to happen . Until it happens , people can b**** all they want All we saw last year was tax saving moves and leaving money on the table . I think we will use the leftover MLE or BAE before too long . However , I wouldn't be surprised if we yet again try to wait until we see the buyout market ... and in that situation I wouldn't exactly be surprised if we didn't pick up anyone of note either.
