I guess they are talking about role players because the Rockets have sure as hell treated their stars well. They've extended Harden (twice) and they signed CP3 to a max contract even though everyone knew it would bite them hard.

I don’t doubt at all some agents might feel worked over by the Rockets but the Rockets go out of their way to maintain relationships. End of the day players decided where they want to play, not agents.

 

I don’t believe this. Rockets have gotten plenty of quality FA’s over the years, some on favorable deals.

lol I wouldn't call someone soft because they don't like the idea of going somewhere that views you like an asset. Theres a reason stars always want no trade clauses, so they don't end up in phoenix on a 20 win team.

 

This tweet makes no sense. Hundreds of players change teams every year. Be it free agency or trade. Rockets are nowhere close to the worst on this front.

Playing style as an issue. That’s another thing.

The main issue is they had/have no cap space and best bet was to convince someone in S&T and they chose poorly on who to target there.
