    Haven’t seen it reported elsewhere. That seems a bit high honestly but one year I guess is decent enough.

    Kind of makes it look like Looney is off the table if true since we’d have nothing left of the MLE.

    But I’m not sure I trust the source.

    If the Rockets signed Gortat, they have truly lost it. He is often injured and 35 years old.

    We are thrilled to have you backing up Capela, whom unfortunately we are not trading away despite extreme confidence, and whom we are going to keep on the roster.

    Not much reason to sign Looney unless you are trading Capela. I'd still try to sign McGee for the minimum.

    It’s not certain that we are keeping Capela at this moment. What if they’re still contemplating the option of trading Capela?

    only reason they were entertaining that idea was for butler. now that that's out the window, he likely isn;t going anywhere

    They have one way to improve at this point and that's the remaining MLE money. Can't use that on a backup C imo.
