I'd never visit cities like Portland or Berkeley because of their toxic politics and attitudes. Their tolerance of riotous and violent activity is scary to me. I certainly understand why that conservative blogger felt threatened and drew a gun when the crowd was aggressive towards him. I thought the police failed to create a safe environment for citizens whether protesting, counter protesting, or reporting.
I bet every one of them are right wing trolls. There is already plenty of precedent of online fake antifa accounts from right wing trolls with absurd statements so they can rile up the anti-sjw Peterson cocking sucking fan boys to be filed up.
Respectfuly, Portland is probably the nicest most beautiful city in the country. The nickname "city of roses" stuck for a reason. And the people are super nice. This is like finding a single immigrant who commits a crime and using him to paint all immigrants as violent crim... Uh... er... Nevermind. Most residents of the city never even see a protest. You are probably about as likely to get beat up in a protest as you are to die in an earthquake when California or a hurricane in Houston, or dragged around town behind a car by the KKK in Vidor - especially if you dont plan on going protests. The only truly disturbing thing about Portland is the fact that it is against the law to pump your own gas. But that is all of Oregon.
They changed the law recently for the smaller counties in Oregon, I think it's those with fewer than 50K residents. Portland really is a beautiful city. I'd gladly go back, apparently the food scene has exploded since I've been.
Michelle Malkin set up a GoFundMe drive to replace Ngo's camera equipment. I know a lot of you will want to contribute. https://www.gofundme.com/f/protect-andy-ngo-fund#updates
Who says conservatives don't care about the environment. Clearly, they know how to recycle. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...l-stage-armed-rebellion.298275/#post-12380908
The hordes of homeless camps aren't my idea of beauty. Portland is constantly in the news with AntiFa protests, I think there's more than enough to establish a pattern. It will usually be in the city centers as well, which is where most tourist activity will likely be. If I'm a tourist, I want to avoid that headache. That's the reason I crossed Paris off my list of potential vacations this year. I have no problem visiting the rest of the PNW. It's a beautiful region.
It's kind of emblematic of the world today that someone whose never been there is telling people who have that they don't know what it is really like.
Lol one thread for antifa thug terrorists of beaten up people. Hundred others for crazy white shooters who commit mass murder. #NRA4Eva
