well the only team that can give him 5 years is Philly...the Rockets will give him a 4 year max with no hesitation...the most we can pay him is 4/140
No news from Butler is good news for Rockets fans. Hopefully it says this way till their meeting soon
A random curiosity i just realized, Harden still has 4 years left on his contract, if Butler gets traded here with his 4 year max he would expire just on par with James.

You know wade said the rockets made a scapegoat out Anthony, and he's telling butler how f$$k up the rockets organization is.
If it came down to Philly having to cooperate or work out a sign and trade with either Miami and Houston and the proposed packages are somewhat similar.... I would find it hard to believe that Philly would send him to A conference rival in Miami rather than Houston. I understand he may be using the LA teams as leverage but he does have a meeting scheduled with Houston. Just seems like they could easily tell jimmy a sign and trade to an eastern conference team is a no go.
You'd think that but I wouldn't be surprised if they'd rather deal him to Miami because that's just the Rockets luck in these situations.
