6.5+ Games. Pretty amazing we have a good lead on our cousins (Rangers) considering their home record is 28-15, ours is 30-13.

When James throws strikes he looks so f**king good. Only makes his inconsistency so much more frustrating.

Yep. I always think of Bobrek as “The Pope” LOL

Anyway, a little late, but excellent win! Really great outing from Cole to complete the sweep, he ends up being the only starter to get the W this series. Excellent hitting in the ninth, good that our guys gave us more cushion.

Hinch said Alvarez is unlikely to play the field @ Rockies.

That's too bad. I would love to see him hit some bombs in that thin air.

Can't he still be the DH?

I mean, it's not totally out of the question. You can't win the Derby hitting popups.

So bobrek is to blame for Astros playing poorly. Bregman's swing is jacked up because about 3 more popups, 10 less doubles, and 7 more homers than his pace last year. 3 more pop ups aren't worth the 7 homers apparently. More complaining about White which while deserved after going 0 for 4.

Astros did just complete a sweep?

I'm just upset that this is the year we moved and gave up our Twins season tickets. It would have been fun to go to the Astros playoff series

Go see Brendan McKay play baseball. It's disgusting that the Rays got that guy.

I don't even know what to say about that franchise, something, something, napalm.

They seem to do a lot of trades and moving people around.

Anyone is better than the Yankees and Red Sox, though. I honestly can't really say I hate the Rays. Not a fan, but I don't hate them.

Yeah, thank God for the Astros. Even in their recent slump, they are a breath of fresh air.

    Yordan Alvarez 160 game pace:

    190 hits 120 runs 40 doubles 70 homers 210 RBI 80 walks 160 SO .317 .406 .733

He's a stud. Him being what he is showing himself to be absolutely changes the calculus for this team going forward and IMO extends the window 3 - 5 years at least.
