Owning a hand gun would possibly even help her in a general election. In reality she is not a far left person, she lets politics and trying to curry favor with certain groups get in the way and it makes her seem insincere and fake at times. She is at her best being the law and order, ball buster that she is. She is an Obama type moderate........ and I really believe that had she ran more truthfully she would have had a really good chance to win. She needs to trust her instincts..... for example when they asked her about felons voting. She was too concerned about upsetting voters so she didn't take a position right away. She knew it was absurd..... she should have played it to the hilt and said she "I am a former prosecutor. I am familiar with the damage that dangerous and violent felons do in our society. I want to keep people safe and I do not believe that dangerous felons should have the right to vote. That is Bernie's fight."
i agree with a lot of this but there is a difference between felons and dangerous felons. Don't really have a strong opinion on voting rights for felons but don't think you should have your rights permanently stricken because of any felony.D So no felons can be rehabilitated?

The other candidates should go get themselves some guns. Anyone who is running in the General on gun control is not going to have any credibility with swing voters if they can't demonstrate they aren't anti-second-amendment nuts (like me). If you are a Dem candidate who owns a gun, you can credibly say 'I don't want to take away your guns, I just want some common-sense controls.'
