Hey let's vote and see who Clutchfans wants to see win the DNC nomination at this stage. We can do more in the future as major events happen. Considering the first debates are over, where do we stand?

I thought there was 20. You had trouble remembering all of them? Julian Castro did pretty well.. At least add "other". haha

Sanders by a mile, but also would be happy with Warren. I like Gabbard and Yang as well but I don't think they have a chance, they can't be heard amongst the sea of neoliberals barking during the debates.

I just went with 10 since there is a limit on how many spots you get. If you have an other I don't think it matters much. Just write the name down below because I included the main ones who have a realistic shot. IMO Castro is going to drop out. Same with some of the people I included anyway. Sorry I didn't put other though, maybe in the next one after we see some progression and more drop out. Thanks.

BTW I didn't put them in any specific order... next time I may order them by RCP aggregate.

Gabbard keeps saying "Stop regime-change wars." She has my vote.
Whoever wants the least war gets my vote, whatever their party.

Harris has the only shot to beat Trump. When dems start to see that they'll switch over.

    Yeah, I like this ticket.

I want Warren to win. She seems left enough of neo-liberalism that I think she could actually motivate the base to get out and vote unlike Biden and not too left like Sanders to not completely scare people away.

I’d like to see a Bernie/Warren ticket. Don’t want Biden.

Sanders is the most authentic. People are stealing his ideas right and left (e.g. $15/hour minimum wage). The problem with him is that a good portion of the Democratic party does not like him, likely the Clintonistas.

What the right is trying to do to elevate Yang, and Gabbard is pretty transparent and actually pretty funny. People on the Right that go to the Drudge report don't REALLY support Yang & Gabbard. They'll vote for Trump over them 100 times out of 100.

Then you should love Bernie, Kamala, Warren, etc. just as much.

This push for Gabbard from the Drudge/Brietbart crowd is laughable. Have you ever asked yourself why the media sources you obviously consume are telling you Gabbard is great but everyone else is the devil when Gabbard has adopted nearly every single policy aspiration of the mainstream Dem candidates other than the one or two so-called "moderates"??

You have to make a more compelling case other than "shes opposed to regime change wars"... no Sh$*. So is virtually every other Dem candidate except for Biden who has to admit he voted for war in Iraq, and maybe Beto who has a voting record in Congress that could be a bit of an issue when it comes to war support.

And let me add... I think Tulsi Gabbard is just fine. Her policy positions align with mine, and think as a fellow surfer, and as a woman with military experience there's alot to like. But she's so far hasn't been able to make a case to the public as to why she's really a leader who can excite the base & her embrace of Assad & wink wink at Putin has been a real issue with Dem base voters really trusting that she's not bought off. More than anything Dem voters in the base want someone who is not bought and sold.

I think Gabbard has a nice future, but she's just not trusted as much as someone like Warren & needs to excite the Dem base voters. And if she was really doing so and a threat to the Republican establishment then I damn well guarantee you that freaking Brietbart & Drudge would not be telling their consumers that she's one of the good dems.

I believe you are correct that the vast, vast majority of people who go to Drudge Report are either solid R voters or Trump leg-humpers and so they have virtually no shot of crossing the river to vote for Gabbard or Yang.

However -- there are swaths of Obama-Trump voters throughout the Midwest who are itching to vote for a pragmatic Democratic populist.

Folks like Yang and Gabbard will probably not turn out a lot of traditional coastal liberals. But the good news is we don't really need those votes to take back the Whitehouse.

Well I have never read Breitbart or Drudge in my life, so that seriously detracts from your credibility right off the bat.

You go on to mention Gabbard is wink-wink with Assad and Putin. You yourself seem to say that makes her different from other candidates, no?

So, uh, other candidates hate Assad and Putin more, do they? I don't. Sorry.

This poll would be better served if it were "Who do you not want to run against Donald Trump?" while allowing multiple choices.

I actually don't know about Trump. I didn't vote for him in 2016. You aren't much of a mind reader.
