Harris is better as a VP. She already has an authenticity problem. I hope the DEM doesn't repeat that mistake and select another candidate with that issue.
It sure did look like Yang was interjecting with no sound. NBC is savage. Thankfully they are an american corp so it is not foreign collusion to influence an election.
From my perspective, since I didn't get to watch the 2nd hour, Yang spoke way too fast. Was he nervous?

It's ironic and tragic but Fox News has done a better job covering the Democratic primary so far. Their town halls have been some of the best content and they give everyone equal opportunity (although some dummies don't take it).
That has more to do with having 10 people on stage at once. People forgot how much of a **** show the GOP primary debates were?

Not an expert on debates and not expecting much from these early debates, but I think Yang NBC did Yang a favor... he is getting much more discussion now than he would have had if he was given the time to speak commensurate with what he should have based on being such a lower tier (based on polling) candidate. Really smart guy, like to hear more and he can add to the platform, but virtually no chance. But to be honest, these debates are too early and with too many participants to be really useful. My two cents... Kamala Harris definitely helped her campaign, as did Castro last night (but he is a lower tier candidate). Still way early, but my top tier: Biden, Harris, Sanders, Warren, Buttigieg, Klobucher.
That's an interesting perspective. Getting buzz generated about you... because you weren't allowed to speak. Then the mic thing on top of it just increases everyone's curiosity. I can't say I'm happy with how it went programmatically, but there may yet be a silver lining... silencing people has always shown to increase interest from the public.

You're right, it's probably easier. Hillarry destroyed him in debates and sent him off spewing about Alicia Machado for a week. It didn't and probably doesn't really matter to Trump and his legion of MAGAmorons, obviously.
The goal is lower to the ground but the hoop is shaped much differently given whom your dunking has to impress. These basketball analogies are tough.
