    With
an aging cp3 declining rapidly? And what would we have outside of that ? This isn’t going to be enough even if it does happen which I strongly doubt.

Nah, he loves this. He wants them to get as close as possible to success so that then if they still fail he can burn them even harder.

Not good if it's just the "LEGIT big 3" and no depth. Can't get rid of Gordon AND Tucker, and possibly Rivers in the FA.

Harden is the always option A. Jimmy Butler will be as good as a second option as CP3 was in 2017/18. CP3 will be the best third option we've had during the Harden era.

Are they overlapping in skill? probably. Does it allow us to get creative with rotations? yes. Will it keep each guy fresher throughout the year? theoretically yes but MDA may find a way to get them all 35 minutes a game.

I agree. This is my stance as well. Just messin cuz this news excited me.

Signing a 5 year deal at the max then demanding to be traded is a crappy thing to do, for example. This, if it happens, wouldn't be bad; Butler made no guarantees to PHI that he was going to re-sign with them when they traded for him (I assume).

Totally. If he were to re-sign with Philly and then want a trade that would be a dick move and he would deserve to get lambasted for it.

The Rockets aren't morally superior to any other team in the NBA. If AD tanked the Pelicans to come here Morey would gladly have obliged. It would have made me sick though and I'm glad that none of our players HAVE done that.

Harden-Wanted a max from OKC, was willing to stay, they wouldn't do it. They decided to trade him to avoid losing him for nothing at the end of the season. He never demanded a trade.
CP3-Played out his contract and then worked with the Clippers to get himself where he wanted to be as a FA
    Butler-Time will tell, but he's a FA.

I HATE the way players tear down franchises right now ESPECIALLY when it's about marketing opportunities.

Philly doesn’t hint of participating unless Mr Jimmy has told them he wants out.

Well, if this happens, he'd also have to take back some of the cheap jokes. I've made a few myself along the lines of "small portions at Saltgrass", but Carl is on another level. On this topic, he's summited Everest.

    Eh,

Jimmy tore down the Wolves after they mortgaged their future for him.

He also forced his way out of Chicago.

    He's not innocent here.

I want to be excited, but I can't help but feel like it is a step back for next season overall if you lose 3 starters, which happens to be a golden opportunity with the Warriors weakened.

I don't know. In Morey we trust, though.

He didn't force his way to Houston. :)

I hate what he did to the Wolves.
