I will say this. Harden doesn't deserve this. I'm pretty sure he didn't ask the Rockets org to go out and put these tweets out. Unnecessarily a bad look on not just the Rockets but Harden too.
Social media is full of group thinking morons who think that they are all clever. This is all started with /r/NBA years ago. It's been exemplified by House of Highlights. That Instagram page rarely ever shows positive highlights from the Rockets and constantly uses their platform to bash them. It's almost exclusively for positive stuff but when it comes to the Rockets they switch a flip. It's because they know they can get a lot of attention by bashing the team.
Morey plus Fertitta are PR disasters waiting to happen. Rubs off on the official Twitter account. Their only salvation is winning it all and convincingly, in terms of sweeping teams like the earlier GSW.
So we’re all clear, the ESPN NBA account tweeted a gif of that play where Giannis hit Harden with the ball and had the MVP trophy overlayed on the ball. But here goes a group of people upset over “respectfully disagree”.
Ya'll pay way too much attention to what everyone else says or thinks about us. This is 99.9% of the problem with the population. Who really even gaf! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
ALL of this hate was here BEFORE the MVP tweet, BEFORE the ref-gate Soooooo, who the *** cares. If you're $5 million in debt or $8 million- same shiit tbh. Having said that- next year is the year to talk on the court- Not on social media
Bottom line...bad look for the organization. Should've taken the high road. Add this to a very embarrassing off-season so far.
