5 videos earlier he was wearing a dodgers hat and clearly pointing to LA. He’s just trying to mess with people. I think Jimmy is pretty hard to read. I’m leaning towards him not coming here at this point, But who knows, like I said he’s a hard read.

 

Butler would be an amazing get for us but imo Love is the better FIT for this team.

 

The thing is that if Philly offers him the 5 year max is he going to walk away from the $190M offer he's been wanting for THREE YEARS and put it off one more season? That's the real question here.

1) He has to really WANT to be in Houston. No way of knowing how he feels about that. I know it's his "hometown" but that's never mattered to him before. He wanted to be here when Minny was trying to trade him, but he ended up in Philly. He has to WANT to leave Philly and WANT to come to Houston. That's hurdle 1.
2) He's been dreaming of that max deal for 3 years. He got dumped by two teams over fears of this max deal. Now he's about to get it. 5 years $190 million will be on the table. He has to walk away from that. That's hurdle 2.

Those are the Jimmy hurdles.

 

I bet somebody in Houston would give the man a house to play here. I bet no one in Philly would.

The only way this happens is if Philly doesn’t offer him a 5 year max. Jimmy would be stupid to turn that down to come to the Rockets.

 

The problem with this is Philly thinks he’s gone because he doesn’t want to be there because of the fit. We have obstacles but not that one.

 

They are offering the 5 year max.

 

He is the top priority for the 76ers and they are 100% offering him the full 5 year max. IF he leaves I think we have as good a shot as anyone. I'm definitely not in the camp that is sold he's willing to leave.
