    Eh, i get what you're saying and i have no interest in defending Tilman, but it's also the reality that we have no assets, i guess we could've traded Capela or Gordon with a pick for a marginal improvement, or maybe nothing worth it was even available, i mean, they tried with Butler.

    Possibly, but they would've had to have had a deal in place with OKC. The Thunder did ultimately trade their pick so it is a possibility.

    These stories are there every other year for nearly every team. It's part of the draft. What's different is every front office isn't hyper sensitive about their fanbase seeing obvious signs that they are more concerned with ducking taxes than improving the team. Its the chronic making it known writ large that is the weird part.

    Can he please get something done and then talk? I know he is aggressively pursuing Míchel Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain for the last 10 years but somehow we almost always end up with overpaid albatross contracts, well past the prime players or minimum type of signing scrubs. Just shut up Daryl until you actually pull something off. Im so sick of all the excuses

    He didn’t say who was almost dealt but I agree that nothing positive comes from this other than Morey telling the fan base he is trying to improve the roster.
