Ben McLemore works out for Rockets

Better than having Bobby Brown on your bench

 

I am just not a huge fan of Kansas players, majority of them have flamed out in the NBA despite coming out with major potential. In McLemore case i would give a benefit of a doubt considering he was with the Kings during one of their most dysfunctional phases, but he has bounced around the league enough and never could find a home. Could the Rockets salvage him? Sure thats an optimistic look, but I am not going to pin any hopes on him.

Considering the other types of players available for the min - I would definitely give McLemore a fair shot, he wasn't just a top 10 pick for no reason and many did have him in the lottery that year. Its a low risk high reward, but again if the team is expecting him to be a contributor in the same vein they viewed Ennis last season then there is a problem

Morey says "we are going after super stars". Fans are like "talk is cheap; we'll believe it when we see it." But when Morey works out minimum contract guys to fill roster spots, fans are like "get that trash outta here; Morey must be crazy."

Im glad hes getting a good stsrt kicking the tires on miniumum contract guys. And frankly, i dont think he does worse than last year. No place to go but up!

Morey why don't you have Harden tell Rivers he will be given a new contract. Quit messing with these guys that will never be in the rotation.

 

You still need vet min players to fill out the roster. Jeez

Lol Masai gave McGee a 40M x4 years contract when he was in Denver and the cap was around 55M
