Well it’s all who you wanna believe, Morey who’s never gone this far to cover up a leak or the dude who said he wishes Harden would get injured.
Stein: The worrisome rumbles have been emanating from Houston for about a month now. Rumble 1: Chris Paul has asked for a trade. Rumble 2: James Harden was advocating Paul’s exit when he cryptically said after the Rockets’ elimination that he knew “exactly what we need to do” to fix the team’s issues. Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey strenuously denied these scenarios when I asked him about them recently. He did so again Monday in an expanded interview with ESPN Radio. To Morey, any friction between his two stars falls under the banner of creative tension in the wake of playoff disappointment. On Tuesday, though, Yahoo Sports’ Vincent Goodwill followed up with a lengthy report describing the Paul/Harden relationship as “unsalvageable.” This, mind you, is the one time, amid all the injury-related uncertainty suddenly confronting Golden State, that Houston could really benefit from some continuity. Contract talks with Coach Mike D’Antoni have again stalled, which continues to baffle me given the success Harden has enjoyed through this partnership. But the coaching situation is suddenly the smallest of Houston’s problems. The remaining three years and $125 million on Paul’s contract make him virtually untradeable. Harden isn’t going anywhere. Even with everything else going on, be it the draft or free agency, rest assured that 29 other front offices are transfixed by this drama from afar and wonder how on Earth it gets resolved.

This must be especially awkward since Paul and Harden live together with their State Farm Agent. Seriously, if true let's see if Paul wants out so badly that he becomes willing to renegotiate his contract.
