Barkley should have been honored by the Rockets
We don't beat Seattle in the playoffs without him

    Probably Not.

Tilman would have paid him. He owns a casino in vegas.

Sounds like Barkley should have watched the scene in Jerry McGuire where the my word is stronger than oak verbal deal went awry......

If he has beef with Les over this, then fine, but that's no excuse to come on national TV and **** on several members of the Rockets organization that had nothing to do with this. It was out of line and everyone knows it, which is why he made that weird apology afterwords.

The Lin thread is a giant massacre. Lots Of blood on the ground and all over the walls. Still trying to find some janitors to mop up that mess as we speak.

So you believe Barkley was in the right in this situation.

The Rockets were wrong not to pay him and wrong not to honor him.

What do you mean by "not to honor him" (Barkley)? I was at his last game and he was honored after the game. The team players gave him the complete Rocket basketball hoop & post that he made his last shot into as an NBA/Rocket player. Each player spoke on how they enjoyed playing with him and then he was presented with a custom made "big man recliner" to enjoy his retirement watching next season's games, from the Rocket organization. Barkley laughed wondering where he was going to put the basketball hoop and post in his house...if he could get it in his house.

Barkley had been out on the injury list at the end of his last season, but he came back for his last game and played a few minutes. He struggled most of his playing time, but the crowd roared when he finally scored. He went out playing the game he loved.

Did he make it into the 50 greatest book? We only played 41 home games and I never snagged a copy.
