It's a no brainer to trade a regressed player for a regressing player.

There aren’t many starters I wouldn’t trade for CP3 (and his contract) right now

You can't win titles without star players. Dinwiddie and Kurucs will never reach star level....

Nets only hope is to get Irving and another star player with him (like Durant). Irving can't be the top dog on a championship team.

I don't get it. DLo over the next 5 years is a better bet than Irving, cheaper, healthier and possibly the better player in 2-3 years. Playing them together sounds suboptimal. Kyrie will mess with their chemistry. Harris, Butler, Middleton should be their targets. And if they miss, no problem, no need to go all out this summer.

Can't imagine that Kyrie is going to try to be a diva with the Nets knowing everything everyone knows about the organization. And Nets wouldn't be giving anything up like they did when they gave away the farm 5 years ago. Trust in Marks and Atkinson to make this work.

DLo has the potential to reach that star level. Definitely need to add another...

Kyrie is the most overrated star in the game (even more than Westbrick). Bad move to make.

Kyrie won't accept that he is just a sidekick. The earlier the better.

I don’t like Kyrie after this. He had a really good situation in Boston with young players. I can’t only imagine what Harden would do with that supporting cast.

Fortunately for Harden, his greatest skill can transfer to any team regardless of players. He doesnt need another star to flop his way to the free throw line.

If so, why 'only' 3-seed at best? Philly, questions. Bucks? Can they run it back?

Knicks and clippers don’t want Irving unless he can bring up a top 5 player.
