I see why he doesn't do many in person interviews, he needs to stick to twitter. I thought he's was doing decent lately but here he is putting his foot in his mouth again.

Amazing how trump's dishonest mind works... he is comparing meetings he has as President with the Queen of England with taking meetings with Russian agents in order to get dirt (in this case, stolen emails) on his campaign opponent.

Os could read Mein Kampf and his main take away would be that Hilter had some interesting ideas on Democratic Socialism.

Amazing how trump's dishonest mind works... he is comparing meetings he has as President with the Queen of England with taking meetings with Russian agents in order to get dirt (in this case, stolen emails) on his campaign opponent (repeated since trump had to fix his typo, misspelling Wales and Whales). He fixes the silly typo, but not the ridiculous analogy on comparing meetings with the Queen and russian agents offering stolen email dirt on trump's election opponent.

The Criminal in Chief is not a very smart man. CiC saw that Russia helped him in 2016 and would likely double down in 2020, so the CiC is all for foreign influence in our elections.

The biggest state government sponsored internet criminals include both Russia ... and China. Russia went hard against Hillary in 2016, since she would handle Russia with a firmer hand than Obama (and Trump would sell his country out for a Trump Tower Moscow).

The question begs which countries would hate to see the CiC re-elected. I strongly suspect that China would be taking the lead there, since they do not care for CiC's tariff regime. Would anyone besides the CiC be surprised if the CiC leaves the door open for foreign influence meddling in the 2020 elections and China walks on through?

The House appears to be closing the legal loophole that appears to allow trump and trump junior the legal shade to do this... will the republican-led senate do likewise?

If they do, I’ll be gobsmacked. I hope McConnell does the unexpected and puts his country before sucking up to trump, instead. It’ll be a first if he does.

    Jonathan Turley:

In a controversial interview, President Donald Trump told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos in the Oval Office that he would accept dirt on political opponents from foreign government and would not necessarily alert his own FBI. He further said that FBI Director Christoper Wray was “wrong” in saying that such contacts should be reported. There is nothing illegal in receiving such information for either politicians or journalists. However, it puts Trump at odds with the view not only of his own agencies but most of the public on the need to alert the FBI. In the aftermath of the interview, various Fox hosts criticized not Trump but ABC for what they portrayed as an ambush. It was not an ambush. It was a standard interview with a highly relevant (and predictable) question by Stephanopoulos. At the same time, the CNN’s Chris Cuomo is also wrong to portray this as endorsing possible criminal conduct. There is nothing illegal in accepting information from foreign intelligence figures, which was done by the Clinton campaign in the Steele Dossier.

Notice graham also attempts to defend trump by including a "either contact the FBI or reject the offer".
