Rockets are very interested in bring Pat back. Problem is that now with the KD situation, there is speculation that the Clippers may overpay for him.
I also am very interested in bringing Pat back. I miss him so much. Him and Tucker deserve to be on the court together.
Wait... he was the one that asked out... and he didn't even have any competition at PG (other than Harden). So if it's just a money thing... then. We don't have any. Seems like a pipedream.
Beverley has become a very solid three-point shooter and we know what he brings defensively. He's a bulldog and knows how the Rockets play. He's also dealt with a lot of injuries. I think he'd get more than the taxpayer MLE. It would be an interesting add but I feel like other areas are more pressing needs (barring a trade of Paul or Gordon).
Rockets interested in PatBev reunion. PatBev not interested in Rockets reunion. PatBev preferably wants a starting job (and some team just might give it to him -- current team Clippers, Bulls, Mavs, Suns and longer long shots: Celtics, Hornets, Pacers, Pelicans, Knicks, Magic, Jazz, Wizards) Also I guess not optimistic about keeping Rivers?
It's hard to imagine that Houston would be willing to pay as much for Bev as a team like Chicago. He'd have to be willing to leave some money on the table for it work, I would guess.
Too bad these type of moves don't make us more likely to beat the team we've been trying to beat for years now we need a stretch four which we've clearly been lacking for awhile now. A move like this and we'll just keep being that team that was so close to making it to the finals
get rid of CP0 and bring in a forward that can create for himself and others Bev Harden Butler Tuck Capela 1 can only dream...let me put the blunt down
Not that I've seen. He was rooting for Rockets to beat Warriors in playoffs, and the Rockets technically honored his trade request by sending him to LA. He wanted to spread his wings a little bit, but has said he'll always be grateful for Rockets bringing him from Russia, giving him opportunity in NBA. His mom might even still have her shop here...anyone know? That being said, I doubt he'll give anyone a hometown discount, nor should he.
