I just don't see a rusty KD making the difference. He may be a huge liability.

Raptors need to cut the head off of the snake tonight. They can't risk going back to Oakland and then face a potential game 7 against one of the best teams of all time. Tonight is their moment.

If Toronto is smart, they'll try to get a fast player (Lowry) or a bruising player (Kawhi, Siakam) on KD and just make KD work that calf/achilles, the entire time he's out there.

Wouldn't it be perfect symmetry if they come back from being down 3-1 and win on Father's Day after being on the losing end of the same situation 3 Father's Days ago?

Well, it would sure make a lot of Warriors fans happy. That should be a popular position on this board.

Even as a spot up shooter, he would affect Raptors while his length can mitigate a lack of full mobility.

Everything would depend on how healthy he is and how rusty he is. For all the noise, KD might just spend the night in foul trouble.

Wouldn't make headlines if Kyle Lowry had said it...

Neutralizing Klay is the key ... He seems to have big moments when GS is lethargic... Keep him under 25 and Toronto should pull this out

He doesn't need to play like old Durant, just be out there, making open shots will be a huge fact for other guys. Think about who had be out there while he was out, those guys were playing at below D league level in this series.

You really don’t expect that from Kawhi, but that’s the type of attitude you want. I highly doubt Harden has that.

It's natural to become a temporary fan of a team when your team is out of a competition. I like narratives. KD coming back and being the difference. What if he takes another Russell? Leaving Curry without one again. How salty would that make him? How do the Raptors collapse? Ir won't be Kawhi. He could take the Russell as a loser like Jerry West did 50 years ago. So many stories in the Warriors coming back to take this.

Sure, plenty of good storylines if the series continues. Just pointing out that not many Rockets fans share that point of view.
