    That’s a great question I hadn’t considered.

Didn’t Trump stop inviting NBA champions, though?

What's the sample size of Durant not playing with generational shooters in Klay and Curry forcing the defenders to leave him one on one?

Oh, you don't have one. You're just picking and choosing what suits your narrative. You should put an application in at ESPN asap bruh.

Was he as good as Ryan Anderson though?

    That's the real litmus test.

Put him next to Harden and you could start polishing the trophy.

Raptors barely beat a dysfunctional Sixers team in a bo7 series...

This was probably the best year for a team to step up and win the title with Durant being injured.

    Damn shame

    Great win for Raptors.

Not being discussed AFAIK, but Nurse has been schooling Kerr.

Agreed. Harden would have had to shoot even more because we already know old man river would’ve gotten washed by Lowry and Van Fleet. Capela would be his usual no show and our “genius” coach wouldn’t call a time out. Mike would just hand the ball to Harden and say figure it out!

How awful would it have been to finally break out from the East and then lost to the freaking Rockets?

It is so easy to root for the Raptors, VanVleet took an elbow to his face, blood spurted out, he just laid there without even wincing like a warrior, Kawhi said he does not play hero ball and he does not care who shines from game to game. On the other side we have the Donkey, fouling Siakam right in front of the ref and started jawing with the ref, Stephanie with his constant chewing on that mouthpiece to make himself look cute. These punk asses Worriers had been anointed and the darlings of the NBA for awhile now, they stacked their team, got every favorable calls as long as I can remember, even though the series are not over, but payback is a b**** when the Raptors punch them in the mouth and take it from them in the next game.

We were never a realistic destination for him. We spent our money on flying Ryan Anderson and our “third star” Clint Capela. remember?

I hear you. KL is having a historic post season. That doesn't mean Harden sucks. He just hasnt come up big in the clutch. To be a GOAT, you have to will your team to a championship. KL is doing that right now. He still has to finish it off though. That's the toughest part because GS isnt going to roll over and die easily.

You talk about Ryan Anderson like he is your Attacker/abuser. Why do you bring this dude up so damn much? Go to therapy.

Also remember the Raptors had just beat the 76ers and the Bucks. Both of those teams were better than any WC playoff team other than the Rockets and Warriors.

Raptors got tested and honed everything so they could come into the Finals ready to seize the opportunity when it presented itself.

Toronto's bigs have just flat out played so much better than GSW's...Iguodala building a habitat for humanity park full of brick homes...

Steph Curry looked gassed. Durant may get you one, maybe two wins, but the Raptors wont lose...just because they really have played real unselfish basketball...they have mirrored what the Warriors do at the highest level with tremendous focus and determination. Hope they can get it done.

That being said, if Durant has any self respect he sits out game 5 as well and solidifies his importance on the Warriors squad. Durant has proved his worth with these loses. This was one of those games that Klay goes off and the opponent folds...not today.

    Happy for the Raptors.

I just wish the Rockets got the same type of fair officiating that I see in this series. The officiating is night and day compared to the Rockets series. It made a big difference in deciding the series not just this year but last year as well. Just frustrating.
