This guy must have personality issues like you describe or worse to get a $500k fine for that nothingburger "altercation" - the other owners must have been waiting for a way to eject him.

More than anything, that little move says a lot about him. He has gone his whole life doing stuff like that without being questioned. I’ve only seen that in individuals like that, but they’re usually the ones spoiled by their parents in their teens. Do not envy @AroundTheWorld for having to deal with them, though people in Europe are better mannered from what I’ve heard

Lifetime ban for that? One year is sufficient

Selling his shares is a bigger punishment

They’re VC... what do you expect them to do? Just hand over money to startups and hope for the best? Then take the smallest share they can possibly get?

Founders know what they get themselves into. You get funding from a VC, that’s a Faustian pact in blood. They will take theirs.

Mark Stevens is worth $2.3 billion.

This goes to show the danger of having lower-level billionaires like Stevens and Tilman involved in the NBA. These people tend to bring shame to the league.

Probably because they thought 'sh*t, we're hyping up and showing highlights of a Curry 3 when he blatantly carried the ball'

Probably because they thought 'sh*t, we're showing replays of Draymond's foot being inside the restricted area when a charge was called on Toronto'.

Friday night is a huge game for both teams. The Raptors can take total control of the series, and GS can stay afloat. I prefer the former. Going back to Canada with a 3-1 lead would be an enormous advantage for the Raptors.

Your punishment is to make a 300%+ return on your investment.

Hope you repent your douchy ways.

More like blessing in disguise. Ratings just hit 13 year lows. The value of his shares isn’t going up any time soon.

I continue to be impressed with Kyle Lowry as a professional and a leader.

If having a small share of Warriors gives you the pass to any game on the first row for free, I'd say, selling it during this time is quite big punishment. But you can't force the guy to do that. And I doubt he would do that.

It didn’t look like a big deal to me from the video I saw.

A dumb reaction, to be sure, but it might have been a reflexive reaction to Lowry hurling himself with force into the fans seated next to him.

The punishments being called for seem way over the top.

Imagine if Lowry hurled himself into the Golden State bench, and one of its players did that shove. Would anyone be calling for a lifetime ban of that player? I get that it’s not a totally fair comparison, because there are stricter rules in place on how players can interact with fans compared to other players. Still, I think a 1 year suspension is more than enough punishment.

what? mark had no business even putting his hands on lowry much less pushing him. then talking bs out of his mouth. lowry didn't even jump into him yet his reaction was completely opposite of the ones who he did happen to fall on. mark's lucky that was actually just lowry and he took the high road and walked away. there's no place for people like mark at games. much less a part owner. that was pure pathetic

fans are there to watch the game, not disrespect physically. your ticket didn't buy you the right to put your hands on an athlete. why some "fans" have a hard time understanding that is beyond me. i guess its the alcohol talking and the feeling of being apparently protected

I don’t think there’s any indication that his seats were free.

There’s no place for his reaction. But we shouldn’t define a person by what they do in a single moment.

Players shove eachother all the time for stupid stuff like this. He may have momentarily forgotten his place in the heat of the moment.

he sure is getting defined here. you don't push an athlete for no reason. you have no reason to feel you can put your hands on someone. especially when they did nothing to you. if he is clueless in this regard, something went terribly wrong as he was raised

what did he forget? that he was courtside in an nba final game LOL.
