He only watches when they lose.

And this thread is only bumped when they win.

You realize that has been true for three years?

The Raptors will be the first team to beat the Snake Warriors in 12 series. (and so far snake isn't playing.)

No narratives are really being destroyed here. But either way, go Raptors.

Would we have won just because we paid luxury tax? Or is there a specific player you think we should have gotten?

Remember that there was also the failed Memphis or Miami trade at the deadline. The Rockets weren't the ones that canceled it. THATs what hurts.

Was Mason Ujiri watching the Rockets?

Somehow between Sunday and last night, Nick Nurse grew a mustache, shaved it, learned I-talian and got a west virginia drawl, cause that damn fool just played 7 man rotation and beat the Warriors with it

If we had Ariza, I believe we would have different outcome.

Ujiri is a much better GM not because the Raptors might win the championship, but because he takes risks, drafts well, doesn’t go crazy for stars, values size and skill, has no ego and goes for the best player in a deal without losing out on the future.

Morey lets his theories cloud his judgement, allows his ego to chase certain players and have a big mouth to boost, tries too hard to be validated, has a system yet doesn’t get the right players who thrive in it, drafts poorly and then is too focused on ‘winning’ a trade.

I think he played 9 players....4 bench players.. VanVleet, Ibaka, Powell, Mccaw though last two are for fewer minutes.

he plays vanvleet and ibaka every single night. powell got minutes against the bucks but is a non factor in this series thus far. everyone else is irrelevant who do not play unless its a blowout.

He had a 7 man rotation with 7 guys playing 20-40 minutes.

the eighth man barely counted - Powell's minutes were chopped from 21 to 6.

McCaw Lin Meeks Miller all played 1-2 minutes, mostly garbage time.

Game 1 had 6 Raptors playing over 30 minutes each.

Game 2 had 8 Raptors playing, total.

The Raptors are a short bench team.

I guess they are taking a lesson from the Rockets.

I hope Morey is watching. Curry ALONE (without KD+Thompson) can't beat the Raptors. Curry needs STAR TEAMMATES.

    Harden needs STAR TEAMMATES.

    MOAR STARS PLS.

People need to understand that running a 7-8 man rotation in the finals is different from what MDA does. As playoffs progress you cannot afford the same mistakes.

Nurse showed trust in guys and they came through in earlier series. MDA sticks with guys who don’t perform, doesn’t play one or two who can or could and that’s partly because he doesn’t trust them and or wants a certain style. He’s stubborn to a fault.

Nurse also shows great feeling for timeouts and managing Kawhi’s minutes. The system we run is at fault here since we are so reliant on Harden and CP3 iso ball that other guys are less likely to produce/ get into a rhythm, thus managing minutes and workload is skewed.

We need changes, but watch next season play out the same way. Harden, MDA and Morey are a match made in heaven since all are stubborn and not willing to do whatever it takes to win in terms of adapting.

false. vanvleet struggled in both the first two rounds and throughout the 1st half of the bucks series. he still got his regular minutes. he stuck with him win or lose. powell has been widely inconsistent. still sticks with him. ibaka is their only other big so he gets his minutes, who has also not played that well in the playoffs.

its as if you think this rotation is new. this has been his rotation throughout the entire playoffs. it didn't progress. that's nonsense. he even played 7 guys in their final game vs philly. people need to stop acting like theyre being objective and that its different for toronto. it isn't.
