They switched to a zone the entire fourth quarter to try to stop him. That made things easier for everyone else.
Really, you sure about that, cause it looks like their offense wasnt doing much in the 4th quarter, actually their lowest scoring quarter through out the game. And his stat line was basically that coming into the 4th.
Well it didn't much matter because curry won the game in the third. Raptors are a good defense. Pretty amazing they switched to this desperate move to stop Curry
The Warriors won the game in the third* Is it though? It worked. They were able to do that box and one because Klay went out.
Yeah, crazy, like the Houston games when fans were pointing that the Rockets won 2 or 3 quarters, the same as the Raptors. GSW wins one quarter by a large margin and wins the whole game.
Yes that's why they do those crazy defenses against Steph And to be fair Utah did the same thing to harden
You know very well Raptors had a lot good looks that didn’t go down haha. But also Draymond is amazing
If Kawhi goes off, they will say they wish they had that in Harden. If Curry goes off, they will say they wish they had that in Harden. If the role players go off, they will say they wish Harden could make his role players go off. If the coaching does anything, they will say they wish Harden would allow that. There is no discussing an argument which loops back to Harden regardless of how their experiment goes. All the outcomes of the Finals will result in them blaming Harden. Literally there are no actual outcomes that they can outline to you about the Finals that they would acknowledge changes the argument about Harden. They have the data, everyone has presented their arguments. They want Harden to beat a dynasty. It's just not worth having this discussion with people who cannot accept that a franchise piece does not have to be good enough to bring down a dynasty in order to be considered a viable championship contender level franchise piece. Whether Harden is 5% better or worse than Kawhi or Curry is a small minded argument, and it makes us spend time on something that doesn't materially impact the difference between winning an NBA championship or not. One good minimum signing can improve our odds by more than 5%. Kawhi and Curry and Lebron and Durant fluctuate 5% in their production season to season and no one blinks. These arguments are just locked in a sad place and I feel for them because it comes from the difficulty of watching our team get defeated over and over again. Sometimes we just have to let it be and let it play out.
Kerr switched the offense up... Freed Curry up to play a Reggie Miller role and move without the ball. When he was the main distributor, Raptors were able to pick when they would apply pressure.. T_Man
If the Raptors only had Jeremy House, then Maoeury could really learn something. OP, tell 'em how WE TOLD EM SO about Jeremy House. Why are we so damn smart. DAMMIT! Landry's salad bar...... Hang on. . . . U mean the Raptors didn't sign Jeremy House? WTF?
Too long, too tall, too much potential. Other teams can go that route, the Rockets want to stay short and stumpy.
I hope Darnell is watching this. Next time just go Jeff Gillooly on half the Warriors rotation and force Quan Cosby and a worn out Stieg Curry to beat your as well as Marco Cousin and his 4 inch vert
I don’t completely blame Murray here. Ujiri is just a vastly superior GM. The second I saw the tribute video to Derozan and Carl Lowry’s relationship I knew Masai valued chemistry and treated the players like human beings. There will be a lot of learning this off season.
