Round 23, Pick 706: Zach Biermann, 1B, Coastal Carolina .313/.399/.564, 18 HR, 82 RBI, 54 R, 2 SB, .963 OPS
Interesting pick. Probably won't make the majors but L/L power 1B are interesting. Will be fun to see how he advances in the minors.
Drafting all these pitchers makes sense. Top pitching is the most sought and expensive ML commodity. 1 in 20 make it to AAA?. 1 in 100 make themselves ML level careers? I am probably being generous. Fatten the pool, sure! BTW, anyone got a list of our homegrown guys who say, had at least 5 year careers as ML starters?

More about Biermann. I love this guy already. Hoping for the best. Brewer, Beer, and Biermann all in the same lineup would be awesome. Add in Bregman and Brantley (already here) and we can have Killer B's 2.0!

Can we find L vs L splits? I mean, Guduan and Vogelbach showed us it doesn't really matter LOL, but just curious.
